Photo transformation prompts are not the same as prompts for a blank image. The uploaded photo already contains the important information. Your prompt should explain what can change and what must stay anchored to the original.

Anchor the reference before asking for a new style

When the instruction jumps straight to “turn this into art”, the model may treat the photo as loose inspiration. Start by naming what should be preserved: identity, pose, clothing, object shape, room layout or camera angle.

• Say which parts of the photo are fixed.
• Describe the new style separately from the identity rules.
• Keep the requested change focused: style, background, lighting or format.

How to revise a weak transformation

If the output loses the subject, strengthen the preservation rules. If it stays accurate but boring, adjust style and lighting. Trying to fix both at the same time often makes the next version harder to diagnose.
